Diecast is an 11-minute action film shot on a single weekend and made on a micro budget. The film is notable for not only being the lone action film made at San Diego State University during the Spring 2009 semester but also successfully incorporating hand-to-hand fighting sequences and stunts thanks in large part to Fernando Jay Huerto of Jabronie Pictures. The film is currently running the festival circuit.

Production has already begun on the next Diecast film, which will be the prelude to Diecast. The film is slated to be completed by the end of 2009.
